Karbala Ready for Celebrations on Sha’aban 15th
According to Al-Kafeel website, the Astans have prepared special programs to celebrate the auspicious occasion, which marks the birthday of Imam Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent).
All the preparations have been made to host the large number of pilgrims that are expected to visit the holy shrines on the occasion.
Moukebs (resting places with special facilities and services) have been set up in the holy city to serve the pilgrims, the officials of the Astans said.
Special teams have also been formed to ensure compliance with the health protocols.
The 15th day of Sha’aban falls on Friday, March 18, this year.
Every year, millions of Shia Muslims around the world hold festivities to honor the event.
According to Islamic teachings, Imam Zaman is the prophesied redeemer, who will revive peace, administer justice and rid the world of evil.
